Celebrate Record Store Day

Saturday, April 21st is Record Store Day. And while we believe you should treat every day as if it's Record Store Day, tomorrow is a great day to support your local record store and independent artists. There are all sorts of artists who have unique releases just for tomorrow and lots of record stores across the country will be having special events.

///Whistle Tips/// New Album Out 4/10

With all the recent activity devoted to recovering our stolen gear, we failed to properly announce our sophomore album. Recorded last year with Eli Crews (tUnE-yArDs, WHY?, Beulah), Whistle Tips will be out on Tuesday, April 10th via Ernest Jenning.

The first single from the album, "Untrue", is streaming on our soundcloud above.

We hit the road on Tuesday, February 28th for a 7 week tour that will take us across the country and back, including a stop at SXSW. Check out the tour dates to the right.

House Party Benefit Show

As many of you may have heard, two weeks ago our van was broken into and most of our equipment was stolen (see a full list of the gear here). We've done everything we're supposed to do: file a police report, pursue all insurance claim avenues, search the Internet and music stores for the gear. Not surprisingly, we have not found any gear and both car insurance and homeowners insurance clams were dead ends. So, now we're looking for other ways to raise some dough and get the gear we need, so we can start working on our next record and tour in support of the new album we have coming out on April 10th. In other words...HOUSE PARTY BENEFIT SHOW!

House Party in Fort Greene, Brooklyn

Wednesday, January 11, 2012

Hello friends - Some time between Tuesday night (1/10) and Wednesday morning (1/11), someone broke into our van in Bushwick and stole just about all of our equipment. This is the list of our gear that is now missing.

We're working through all the proper channels (police, insurance company, etc.) to figure out what we do from here, but if you have any information about any of this equipment, please let us know. If you see something in a music shop or on Criagslist or eBay or whatever, feel free to contact us. Any help would be much appreciated.
